So I returned from Fanime a couple hours ago and felt it would be best to write up my con review as soon as possible because of my horrible short term memory. To begin with I ended up attending Fanime with no costumes due to issues that arose. Although I was disappointed by the lack of Cammy and Rise it was a nice change not having to worry about them all weekend.

Thursday:
~stellarwing and I arrived in San Jose late Thursday afternoon. I ended up having to turn around and drive back to my house at the beginning of the trip because I had forgotten my hotel money. After spending 30 minutes of cursing and drive around the convention center we made it to our hotel room and settled down. For the most part an uneventful evening.

Friday:
Early Friday morning (like 12:01 am lol) texted my awesome friend Bear/Gumshoe/Atticus and hung out with him for a short bit. Went to bed at about 2:00 and woke up at 7:30. Once up I dragged my ass down to pre-reg line and picked up my badge after an hour and a half. With my badge in hand I found that I still had a few hours to wait before anything opened. So I meet up with ~linefaced and ~Impure-Impulse in their room. From there we adventured out into the convention hall. Spotted the religious protesters across the street with tetris block cosplayers building behind them. Eventually we split up and Stellar and I found ourselves playing Apples to Apples with Bear and company. Also saw the last bits of swap meet.

Saturday:
Despite my lack of a costume I was very excited for the Ace Attorney gathering on Saturday. I checked in at 11:45 and ended up winning myself a pokemon figure in a raffle for gathering host. The gathering itself ran fairly smoothly for what we could control (Thank you again Meekins for letting me borrow your bull horn! <3). What struck me as really strange was that we did not have a single Miles Edgeworth show up. I still can't believe it. Afterward I attended the yearly AA lunch outing which fell flat on it's face. Later on that evening myself and Stellar attempted to watch ~YouseiTsubasa and ~Jingko in their masq. skit but missed it due to the line to get in. Played Apples to Apples again with the touchy-feely ~linefaced and ~Impure-Impulse in the scenic and peaceful game room. After several hours laughing our ass off we made our way to the video room for some late night delight.

Sunday:
Ended up sleeping horribly cause of the booze and found myself feeling quite groggy for most of Sunday. I could barely stomach anything until after the Persona gathering. It was nice to see other fans of the game even if I might have been spoiled for Persona 3. In the evening I ended up having an impromptu photo shoot with ~YouseiTsubasa.

Monday:
Woke up fairly early, packed my bags and moved them to the car. Finished up my last minute shopping and parted ways with my friends thus ended another Fanime.
